Fans of stand-comedy know Pat Dixon from his half-hour special on Comedy Central ("Comedy Central Presents Pat Dixon"), his appearances on "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Premium Blend," or on one of his appearances on "The World Stands Up" which aired internationally and made him, finally, famous the world over.
Pat started his career in Atlanta, GA and after a second excruciating divorce became entirely homeless and drifted on the road performing comedy 45 weeks a year before landing, finally, in New York City where he now resides. Along the way, he also found himself at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as well as twice at the Aspen Comedy Festival, where industry and fans alike marveled at his unique talent. (ahem).
Dixon is also often recognized as a regular commentator on E! and Vh1, and has been seen as a correspondent on Fox News's "Redeye" program and Headline News.
Pat also can be seen regularly by a national audience on WGN as a regular guest on "The Bob and Tom Television Show" on which he is the resident movie critic. Pat is heard nationwide on the radio by millions of listeners each week on more than 120 stations as "The Nation's Only Unbiased Movie Critic" in which he reviews movies he hasn't seen. Dixon is also a frequent guest on the "Keith and the Girl" podcast, which is heard worldwide by a million loyal fans each month.
Pat Dixon's latest cd "Goodbye Forever Fatty" has been enjoying brisk sales and has been hailed as a comedic masterpiece by comedy fans all over the country, and briefly held the number 6. spot on the top 10 comedy albums in Portugal.
True fans can see Pat Dixon once again stage his one-man show "Biches be Stoopid (DAAMN!!)" this fall at the Broadway Comedy Club.
Pat Dixon has cultivated a following and continues to headline many of the best comedy clubs all over the country.
